Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the wine industry. As the Distribution Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our distributors, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for wine with your expertise in managing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reconcile distributor deposits to ensure accurate reporting between distributor and Free Flow accounting ledgers

· Monitor keg deposit account balances and coordinate with distributor accounting teams to ensure billing process alignment

· Act as the primary point of contact for assigned distributors, fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service

· Coordinate with internal departments, including commercial, finance, logistics, and production to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery

· Collaborate with distributors and wineries to develop and execute strategic plans to streamline the keg supply chain and maximize keg turns through distributor accounts

· Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges

· Monitor and analyze supply chain data, generate reports, and present insights to management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending actions for improvement

· Occasionally travel to distributor locations to nurture key relationships, evaluate customer experience, assess capabilities and mitigate risk

· Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive product efficiency in the market

· Engage with Business Development team to facilitate product training support to distributor sales teams, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to promote Wine on Tap effectively

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

· Proven experience in account management, preferably in the wine industry or within a similar consumer goods sector

· In-depth knowledge of distributor operations, including distribution channels, pricing structures, and supply chain logistics

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information and influence key decision-makers

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies

· Results-oriented and able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Flexibility to travel occasionally for business-related meetings and events

· Familiarity with NetSuite or similar CRM software

· Proficient using MS Office Excel, Word & Google Apps

Compensation:

· Salary: $65,000 – $75,000; annually. Depends on experience.
